About this deal

brothers best friend😏 this book was better than the other but also kinda cringey :/ like please do not ask me out in some huge public display because i will give you a side eye and run the opposite direction. She ends up in the same college as her brother and Theo and after seeing what he acts like she decides its time to move on with one of his hockey team mates. I know college is the time to do crazy stuff and learn but she just really ruined my desire to keep reading this book.

I absolutely loved this book and how hard Theo and Blake had to fight how they feel about each other but how will it all end well you will just have to read this book to find out but you will not be disappointed with the outcome. The angst broke my heart into a million little pieces but the love between Theo and Blakely put it back together again better than before, especially with Theo's grand gesture. I loved how fiercely protective he was with Blakely, having her best interests at heart even if he didn't always show it in the right way. Blake is strong-minded, spirited, innocent, and stubborn, whereas Theo is controlling, bossy, jealous, and overprotective of Blake. But Blake turn 15 and wore her first and only dress, Theo went from easy going friend to a complete opposite and caused a riff for years.Let's start at the end, shall we because for some unknown reason the epilogue just got me all tered up like a lunatic and it was all full of happy cozy feels.

I definitely recommend this for everyone, but especially those who enjoy v-card romances, new adult romances, and college hockey romances. The first half of the book was really enjoyable, I loved the backwards and forwards and we saw glimpses of the Blakely from book 1. By completing your purchase, you agree to Audible's Conditions of Use and authorise Audible to charge your designated card or any other card on file. I couldn't put this book down as it was a real page turner with great characters and a storyline that pulled you in and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.Though Blake and Theo had obstacles to overcome, they did the hard work and in the end became stronger for it. This is the second book in the series, it is a brother's best friends sister, enemy's to lovers romance. As with a number of other books out there, the great alpha-male (hockey great) potentially loses his long-time love interest (his best friend’s little sister) because of a bet… about who on the college hockey team can take her v-card. And Theo, hockey captain, a star with a future in the NHL, bringing girls to their knees but never committing, was just so deliciously sexy and captivating. Which would be a heck of a lot easier if Theo hadn't made it his mission to be my own personal chastity belt for the foreseeable future.

But they were always secretly attracted to each other, or perhaps not so secretly in everyone else's eyes. But the story was filled with so many life lessons focusing on chasing dreams and finding your purpose, fighting for what you believe in for the future you want. I love Blakely’s and Theon’s story and appreciated the snippets into the other characters continued stories. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. This brought kind of a fresh feel to the "im in love with my brother's best friend" Troupe and was dual POV. Blake has been in love with Theo for years, but thinks he has only ever seen her as his best friends sister.
