It is baffling why OUP have not created a sub-contents menu to provide this access as the ESV Study Bible and Harper Collins Study Bible do. The characters are two dimensional, the plot is all over the place and the author can't keep his story straight. When many other Bibles can have links to each chapter within a book this one should be able to so as well.If I have any qualms with this version, it would be the lack of notes and certain mistranslations in the text, for example Psalm 2:12, the Masoretic, Vulgate and Septuagint texts reading something like "maintain purity" and unfortunately, most printed editions of the Bible including the KJV and even the NRSV, render the text as "kiss the Son" or something like it.

Despite how ancient the text is, new discoveries continue to be made; the NSRV fifth edition is only five years old. Beginning with a specific passage or a significant concept, finding information for meditation, sermon preparation, or academic study is straightforward and intuitive. the soundness of whose empirical and logical basis is in inverse proportion to the frequency of its repetition.
