About this deal

Nerf brand blasters, alternative-brands, modifications, community made designs, competitive wars, Humans vs. Apart from the slight delay between trigger pull and firing, it feels like pretty much any other full-auto blaster – short squeeze and you fire one or two rounds, hold it down and you get a string of darts. Though, over time, I felt the desire to keep going - to play longer with less down time reloading and priming the toys for play.

To load ammo into the hopper and you simply slide open up the top door and drop in a hundred balls (I still find that awesome…. If the Nemesis does jam (which rarely happens), the entire hopper chamber can be pulled out, which gives you almost full access to the internal mechanism.

There is also an ambidextrous safety catch that stops it revving, so check both of these if nothing happens. This is not only the best blaster in the NERF Rival range, it is simply the best unmodified blaster, full stop!

Fill the easy-loading hopper and unleash a blistering blast of rounds at a velocity of 100 feet per second (30 meters per second). You will find four sling points; two in the front close to the barrel, one just in front of the trigger, and one at the back. Released in 2017 and named after a Greek goddess of divine retribution and revenge, the Nerf Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K is an exceptionally powerful flywheel and conveyor blaster. With D batteries I managed an average of 94 FPS, which is pretty good, but the rechargeable pack chalked up an average muzzle velocity of 101FPS. Another neat feature of this hopper system is that if you forget to close the little entry door at the top of the hopper, the blaster won’t rev, and you won’t be able to shoot. Most of the time this was no problem as running around shakes them up plenty, but if you are on sentry duty, keep an eye open for this.

Right now, the closest thing you can get to a bottomless drum of ammo is the Nemesis's 100-round hopper and let me tell you it is a true joy. The Nemesis has a fully automatic firing system and a firing capacity of 100 High-Impact Rounds that are loaded via a purpose-built hopper system. The D batteries are heavier and don’t spin the flywheels up as fast and so does not fire as hard as the rechargeable pack, which we talk about later. Overall, I love the Rival line and the Nemesis has earned all the respect its gained and I can't recommend it enough. My only complaint is that I wish it was in more colors, but other then that it is a very fun blaster. The Nerf Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K blaster is not only easy to load and quick to unleash a fury of blistering rounds at an astounding velocity of 100 feet per second but it is also available in either red or blue (sold separately) so you can choose your colour and battle as a team! As mentioned above, this blaster can also hold the Nerf Rival rechargeable battery pack, which is handy if you’re tired of spending your coin on batteries. The first thing that surprised me when I picked this blaster up, was that it is noticeably lighter than the Khaos. I know this is already an expensive blaster, but I would also definitely recommend the rechargeable battery.
